Hello, my name is Amy Perfetti.  I am looking forward to use this creative new tool to keep parents and co-workers updated with new information. I have a passion for teaching and I absolutely LOVE children. My caption “A teacher affects eternity,” is very true. I believe that we as teachers are the importance to our future. It is important that teachers are life-long learners to be role models to our students. I believe we need to be life-long learners to improve teaching style, keep up-to-date on everything, remain enthusiastic for the children, and to give something back to the community. I will be an exceptional teacher by meeting each student’s needs. My plan for becoming a good teacher involves, getting to know each and every one of my students, not only them but their entire family. I will help the children in the areas they need help with, and challenge them in the areas they can be challenged at. In my classroom I will teach with all of the learning styles to meet everyone’s needs. A huge thing that will bring success to my classroom is communication. Communicating with co-workers and families will help children achieve more! My classroom will be a fun and exciting place to be. I will help children understand the importance of education! I am very excited to pursue in my career.

  1. Amy what are some of your ideas to communicate with the families of students in your class. I love children too and the way I feel I can get to know the families it to try a survey to see if their are interests that will be helpful to make our class a little community.
