Narrative:
Friday November 19th, we had lots of fun on our field trip the stuffing factory, followed by lunch in the park. At the stuffing factory we learned about how the first Teddy Bear was made, and how it got its name. The children were very excited and eager to learn. After we learned about it, we got to take a tour through the factory to see exactly how a Teddy Bear is made. There was LOT AND LOTS of fabric and MANY MANY eyes and noses. There were lots of people sewing and working hard. It looked like people making toys at the North Pole. After we took a tour through the factory we all got to make our very own Teddy Bear, we got to stuff it, brush it, and bath it. Then we got to name it and take it home! After we made our bears, we got to spend the rest of the afternoon and tumbleweed park in Chandler. It was a great experience and the children had an amazing time!
